Carole has been a choir director/organist for the past 20 plus years.  Prior to that, she taught piano for many, many years.  Educationally, Carole spent her four-year college career as a piano major, but chose to teach privately so she could be at home with her children.

Once her children were in college, she took a position with Charles Schwab as a stock trader, which she said "was fun and interesting,"  though she missed music.  She re-established her musical career at St. Clare’s Episcopal Church in Pleasanton, CA, as she became a dual career person.  She started the choir with 10 people and it soon grew to 25.  The choir became large enough and experienced enough to accept an invitation to attend the Advent Sing in Vienna, Austria. The choir enjoyed that experience so much that they did another concert tour through the UK.

Carole moved to the Sacramento area in 2000 to “retire."  However, shortly after, she began serving as organist at the Folsom Presbyterian Church. In 2003, Carole was hired as Minister of Music at St. Clement’s.  At the beginning of 2008, Carole traveled to St James in Sonora to assist in building and growing their choir program.  Carole returned to St. Clement’s in 2010.

Carole's husband, Chuck, is a baritone and sings with River City Chorale, where he often solos.  They have 4 children: 3 in the Sacramento area and 1 in Fresno, and all are married and have families.  They are blessed with 24 grandchildren.
