At St. Clement’s we strive to reach out to those in need in our community, our state, and around the world. The words of Micah 6:8 inform our works: “To act justly, and to love mercy and you walk humble with your God.” Our Outreach Ministries reflect those values.
The People’s Pantry: St. Clement’s partners with United Methodist Church (UMC), Rancho Cordova, to assist with the People’s Pantry, which distributes groceries to those who are food insecure every third Tuesday of the month. There are three ways to volunteer for this important ministry: as a shopper, as a packer on the Monday before the pantry, and/or as a distributor at UMC on the third Tuesday of each month. St. Clement’s also collects food for the Pantry and donations may be left in the wagons in
the church entry. A list of needed items is in the weekly Anchor newsletter and in the church entry.

Project Re/Start: In association with the Episcopal Diocese of Northern California, St. Clement’s helps with emergency relief for those affected by wildfire, earthquake, or other disasters. We collect items for Bathroom Bins, which we store until they are needed for those who have to leave their homes in difficult times. Donations can be left in the bin in the church entry, where there is also a list of needed items. (Other churches in the diocese collect items for bins for other rooms in the typical family home.)

Dress a Girl Around the World: Dress a Girl around the World is a nondenominational Christian charitable organization under Hope 4 Women International. It is dedicated to bringing dignity to young
girls around the world. The organization wants every girl to have at least one new dress. The goal is to let girls know they are worthy of respect, and that they are loved by God. St. Clement’s, Rancho Cordova, partners with Cordova Baptist Church and other groups to provide these dresses. Parishioners create kits for other groups and help sew the dresses.
